LONDON: European stocks dropped, with London shares drifting lower as investors prepared to memorialize the victims of last year's deadly July 7 bombings.
London's FTSE 100 index of leading shares slid 0.13% to 5,882.10 points, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index slipped 0.64% to 5,659.18 points and the Paris CAC 40 lost 0.36% to 4,948.62.

Member companies listed on the British stock market were requested to stop trading on Friday to respect a nationwide two-minute silence at 12:00pm (11.00 GMT). Last year's July 7 bombings killed 56 people and wounded about 700 in four blasts on three underground trains and a double-decker bus.
